Clover and PinkDrive Unite to Champion Early Cancer Detection

Share

Clover, one of South Africa’s most trusted dairy brands, proudly announces the success of its partnership with PinkDrive, a leading non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting early detection of gender-related cancers. Throughout October 2025, Clover joined forces with PinkDrive in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, launching a special campaign that brought purpose to every purchase.

The initiative saw Clover introducing limited-edition PinkDrive packaging across four of its popular dairy products – 2L Fresh Milk, 2L Ultra-Pasteurised Milk, 250ml Fresh Cream and 1Kg Plain Double Cream Yoghurt. For every specially branded pink pack purchased nationwide during October, Clover donated R0.20 to PinkDrive’s efforts in expanding access to vital cancer screening, education, and early detection services.

This partnership reflects Clover’s continued commitment to community wellbeing and health advocacy. With its extensive reach and deep connection to South African households, Clover aimed to amplify awareness of breast cancer, empowering individuals – especially women – to take proactive steps in their health journeys.

Throughout the month-long campaign, PinkDrive’s signature mobile units continued to travel across the country, providing thousands of free cancer screening services and educational outreach to under-resourced communities. The proceeds from Clover’s PinkDrive packs directly contribute to sustaining these mobile clinics, ensuring that more South Africans can access life-saving screening and information.

Campaign Success and Donation Handover

The Clover PinkDrive campaign exceeded expectations, receiving an overwhelmingly positive response from consumers across the country. Through the support of South Africans who chose the limited-edition PinkDrive packs, Clover successfully raised R500 000.00, which will be donated directly to PinkDrive to further its work in early cancer detection and community education.

A formal donation handover ceremony will take place at the Randburg Clinic (Cnr Bram Fischer Drive & Jan Smuts Avenue, Randburg) on 10 November 2025, where Clover will officially present the funds to PinkDrive representatives. The donation will go toward supporting PinkDrive’s mobile mammography and health education units, ensuring that more South Africans – particularly in underserved areas – can access life-saving screenings and information.

The campaign demonstrated the power of collective impact—proving that small, everyday actions, like choosing Clover products, can help drive large-scale change in the fight against cancer.
