Toddlers are the most vulnerable to diseases due to how exposed they are to new environments, germs and people – catching a new illness makes it easy. Not forgetting their developing immune systems and ever so curious minds, taking extra care of a toddler is of utmost importance.

Ear infection

The adenoids, which are a part of the immune system, respond to bacteria that enter the body through the mouth and nose. Occasionally, bacteria become entrapped in the adenoids, resulting in a persistent infection that can spread to the middle ear and Eustachian tubes.

Fever

A fever is a healthy indication that the body is effectively fighting off an infection. To prevent harmful viruses and bacteria from reproducing, your body raises your core temperature through a chemical reaction. This is a very effective method for eliminating viruses and bacteria because they typically can only reproduce under ideal circumstances.
